Recently, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) China Scientific Literature Metrology Evaluation Research Center officially released the "Research Report on '2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars'" and announced the pre-release list. Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) has a total of 48 faculty members included in the "2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars" list, with 20 faculty members making it into the "2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars TOP 1%" list. This recognition demonstrates the overall strength and academic influence of the university across multiple disciplines.
This selection is based on the vast amount of data in CNKI, aiming to objectively and scientifically measure and recognize scholars with abundant research achievements and outstanding academic influence. The evaluation indicator used is the weighted total PCSI (Paper Citation Standardized Index) of the authors' published papers. The scope of selection for highly cited scholars includes scholars who have published at least one journal or conference paper with a PCSI index higher than the theoretical average (1.65) in the past ten years (2014-2023) and have been included in CNKI. The "CNKI Highly Cited Scholars TOP 1%" requires that the total PCSI of the authors' papers published in the past 10 years is in the TOP 1% of the initial selection scope and also meets the following three conditions: only papers with a PCSI index greater than 1.65 are counted; at least one highly influential paper has been published; and at least 5 papers with a PCSI index greater than 1.65 have been published.
The university will take this as an opportunity to continue focusing on the university's "1186" strategic tasks, highlighting "YUFE characteristics" in scientific research, building "YUFE teams," adhering to organized research, continuously producing high-quality research results, and further enhancing its ability to serve national strategies and local economic and social development.
